The entry patio is paved with adobe from  Hans Sumpf in Fresno where the bricks 

for the home were made.  This is an authentic California adobe home.

Sadly, Hans has closed shop and the adobe bricks are no longer available in California.   

Nasturtium's grow around the columns and pretty much anywhere they want! 

The front door opens to a settee and Armoire for coats. The entry hall ceiling is primarily sky lights.
